Location

Driftwood Lodge, Northland beachfront accommodation is situated just 4 hours north of Auckland on State Highway 10 (40 minutes north of Kerikeri). Take State Highway 1 as far as Pakaraka (13 kms north of Kawakawa) and turn on to SH 10. Remain on the highway and you will eventually arrive at Cable Bay.

As you decend down the hill into Cable Bay, turn sharp right towards the beach, where you will find Driftwood Lodge...if you get as far as the local store in Cable Bay you have gone too far!!!

The best mode of transport is private motor vehicle. Public transport is virtually non existent in the area, although the local pub occasionally run a free shuttle service to and from the Mangonui Hotel
